Recently re-furbished Wyck Hill House is a glorious venue for a wedding or special event. The grand entrance hall with it's hand made wall paper and epic staircase are perfect for a bride's grand entrance. Jules was one such bride on June 3rd 2011.

From our first meeting, Jules knew that she wanted vintage coloured flowers to match her soft ivory/gold gown with tapestry effect boned and laced bodice. Jules and Rod were married in the beautiful Adam's room which is a bright and sunny room with fabulous views over the garden and terrace. With it's classical proportions and elegant french doors, this room needed flowers that would echo it's elegance and be significant enough in their own right.

The idea for the wedding flowers that we worked upon was to place two classical urns brimming with choice flowers, white agapanthus and hydrangeas, palest peach stocks, old dutch roses and a subtle addition of bronze eremurus brought the whole look together, echoing the subtle touches of old gold within the decor of The Adams room.

An English garden party in an old Cotswold country house. Flaming June weather was delivered for the wedding of Jules and Rod and the French doors of The Adams room were flung open for the guests to spill out onto the sunny terrace and gardens. A crisp white cloth was laid on the long refectory table and cream metal birdcages overflowing with roses and stocks were placed along it. The wedding was truly magical and bride Jules and daughter Melissa looked perfect with their coordinated but different dresses and bouquets.
