A beautiful month for May Wedding Flowers
Elizabeth and Alex had a simple country wedding at The Fleece Inn in Bretforton, Worcestershire.
The picturesque historic barn was the setting for the marriage and the reception. The theme of peaches and cream was given to me by Elizabeth and she said that she particularly loved tulips.
May is perfect for tulips and I was particularly pleased to find a beautiful double cream one called "We two forever", very appropriate for a wedding. So we added some papery cream ranunculus, scented cream stocks and fabulous 'peach avalanche' roses, to create a peaches and cream wedding. We piled these delicious ingredients in simple painted pots, added a chunky church candle and the table arrangements were ready to light up the barn right through to the candle-lit evening celebrations.
Elizabeth's arrival in a vintage VW camper van was perfect. The sun was shining, the bride looked radiant and the bridesmaids bouquets shimmered against their chartreuse green dresses. The previously chattering guests and Groom were ushered into the barn and the beautiful Worcestershire/ Cotswold country wedding of Elizabeth and Alex began....
