Flower Show photos from Badsey in the summer of 2010

The Badsey Flower Show, is one of those quintessential English events that we are so good at. Rose and Grace decided to show there as we were new to the village and it would be a great way to meet everyone.

Catherine made some sample arrangements and was able to get some very good feedback.

Visitors particularly liked the heart arrangement which wood look beautiful on a wall or as a table centre.

Delightful little buttonholes can be simple but always have a big impact. A beautiful white rose, combined with fragrant lavender would set off any grooms suit.

Deep pink roses with a little hypericum berry work well together.

As do white roses and hypericum

The wrought iron candelabra decorated with cymbidium orchids, 'memory lane' roses, red celosia flowers and ivy, drew many admiring comments.

This kind of display would make a spectacular table centre for your home of for a special event.

A candelabra, similar to this one, could look particularly good at the centre of a Christmas display with deep, romantic red roses.

An old dresser top, painted with a Cotswold white paint, provided the perfect backdrop for simple French lavender plants wrapped in dark brown craft paper.

Perhaps, we might see you at The Badsey Show next year?
